GoWebScan API
Overview

NOTE: For an optimal experience, please view this documentation in Mozilla FireFox.

The GoWebScan SDK is a C library of functions to assist in the development of the end-user board scanning, optimization, and grading applications using a G200 series sensor. For users familiar with the previous generation chroma+scan series sensors, this functionality was previously provided as a closed source solution in the form of the station PC software.

The GoWebScan API is provided under the terms of the Source Code Software License Agreement between the user and LMI.

To rebuild on Linux after extracting the contents of the SDK archive, first ensure that you have the g++ compiler package and then enter the following in a terminal window:

> cd GO_WEB_SCAN_SDK/Gocator
> make -f GoWebScanSdk-Linux_X64.mk

The compiled Linux output libraries can be found in the "GO_WEB_SCAN_SDK/lib/linux_x64" folder.

The GoWebScan API has been tested on the following operating system editions:

  • Windows 7 32-bit
  • Windows 7 64-bit

The GoWebScan SDK uses mils (thousandth of an inch), hertz, microseconds and degrees as standard units unless otherwise mentioned
